For 40 years, Lockheed Martin has called South Carolina home. 

We are proud of our deep local roots and ability to help ensure global security from right here in Greenville. ​​Lockheed Martin's Greenville site is the home of the F-16 Fighting Falcon production line and provides nose-to-tail aircraft modification, maintenance, repair and overhaul services for both military and civil aircraft. Since opening our doors in 1984, we’ve provided world-class and affordable sustainment services to thousands of aircraft, including the C-130, P-3, KC-10, and C-9. The site is also home to a highly-skilled, flexible workforce of Lockheed Martin aviation technicians, engineers, program managers and other experienced personnel. ​

By providing world-class, mission-focused support to our customers and U.S. allies, we expanded our Greenville workforce, operations, and economic and social impact. In the process, we became the internationally recognized Global Home of the F-16.

Our Backshops provide the capability to service, repair and/or fabricate many components removed from aircraft undergoing modification and/or maintenance. We also have the capacity to accommodate work for other off-site aircraft sustainment programs.

Over and Above Management Experts
Our team effectively manages the work that is discovered during inspection and tear-down of aircraft and components to ensure the impact to schedule and budget is minimal. Initial planning paired with years of aircraft sustainment experience allows us to prepare for Over and Above impacts while managing the scope of work.
State-of-the-Art Paint and Coatings Facility

Greenville’s Paint Facility is a state-of-the-art operation with two environmentally-controlled bays and a unique down draft system, which saves time and cost. 

With more than 20 years of experience in high-gloss painting, our skilled experts have provided quality and affordable results for a variety of aircraft over the years, including F-16s, C-130s, P-3s, L-1011s, A-10s, VH-60 helicopters, and even the Presidential C-9C airplane. 

Kitting and Material Warehousing

Recognized as a Center of Excellence for Kitting Operations, Greenville Operations has the proven ability to procure and fabricate parts to build a wide variety of kits in support of avionics and structures modification installations.
