Ground-based Non-kinetic Effects
Our GEW solutions include a broad range of capabilities covering traditional electronic warfare (EA, ES, EP), tactical SIGINT, Counter C5ISR-T, Information Warfare, and other classified capabilities.
These enable land forces to dominate the EMS. Experience across open architecture standards let warfighters upgrade capabilities at the tactical level.
From vehicle-mounted to man-portable systems, we can provide:
- Disruption of enemy C2
- Disabling of radar and comms
- Real-time situational awareness
Speed to Field. Scalable by Design.
Going Beyond EW to bring…
- C5ISR-T Readiness: Mature / fielded capabilities that ensure freedom of maneuverability in contested environments.
- Information Warfare (IW): Disrupting adversary reconnaissance and safeguarding blue force operations.
- Space & Terrestrial EW: From countering ground-based threats to neutralizing space-based challenges, our EW systems extend protection across every domain.
- Command, Control & Mission Planning: Integrated C2 and mission planning tools allow commanders to:
- Build battle plans across diverse EW systems.
- Automate execution with synchronized timing.
- Monitor real-time system health and receive alerts for degraded or downed assets.
- Dynamically adapt missions, ensuring forces always operate at full strength.
These solutions are built from a portfolio of proven capabilities—integrated, composable, and tailored to meet the operational demands of tomorrow.
When presented with challenges, we provide solutions.
As an example, Lockheed Martin partnered with the U.S. Army to prototype the Terrestrial Layer System (TLS) family of systems, demonstrating how electronic warfare (EW) could be scaled, integrated, and tailored across multiple echelons.
- TLS-Brigade Combat Team (BCT) gave soldiers a tactical, vehicle-based system that operated on the move, providing real-time spectrum awareness and tactical SIGINT while staying with the formation.
- TLS-Echelons Above Brigade (EAB) provided theater-level long-range sensing and SIGINT capabilities, protecting command posts and critical assets while synchronizing lethal and non-lethal effects.
