Maritime Electronic Warfare

Lockheed Martin has been a trusted provider of Maritime EW for decades, delivering precision capabilities that give naval vessels the ability to detect, analyze, and disrupt complex, modern threats in congested and contested seas. Situational awareness is essential to maritime dominance and we are committed to delivering cutting-edge electronic warfare solutions that help the U.S. Navy and its allies maintain control of the seas.

Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program (SEWIP)

Our Purpose:

The SEWIP program modernizes the Navy’s AN/SLQ-32 shipboard EW system through a series of block upgrades.

Our Role:

Lockheed Martin serves as the integrator of both the AN/SLQ-32(V)6 and the scaled AN/SLQ-32C(V)6 systems, spanning software design and combat system interfaces. We also lead the design and production of SEWIP Block 2 and SEWIP Lite, which deliver critical ESM upgrades to enhance detection, identification, and location of anti-ship missile threats—providing the warfighter with improved situational awareness and survivability.

Our Results:

Lockheed Martin has delivered over 150 SEWIP Block 2 and SEWIP Lite production systems to date for domestic and international navies.

AN/BLQ-10(V) Submarine EW

The AN/BLQ-10 system and its corresponding outboard components provide electronic support measures (ESM) to detect, identify, and locate RF signals through a modular, open architecture design. Modernized through the TI/APB process, the system provides the warfighter with critical situational awareness and intelligence to enhance their tactical decision-making.

Lockheed Martin has supported the U.S. Navy for almost 30 years as the BLQ-10 system integrator through production, fielding, and sustainment of the system.

Surface Electronic Attack

Our experience countering modern anti-ship missile threats spans beyond Electronic Support Measures into next generation Electronic Attack to disrupt, deny, and degrade inbound seeker technology.

Lockheed Martin’s product line approach to delivering non-kinetic effects builds on a legacy of maritime EW expertise, modular countermeasures technology, and a deep understanding of the threat environment.
